How to hide a contact on WhatsApp without blocking

If you want to hide a contact on WhatsApp without blocking them, you can follow these steps:

1. Open WhatsApp and go to the "Chats" tab.

2. Tap on the chat of the contact that you want to hide.

3. Once the chat is open, tap on the name of the contact at the top of the screen.

4. On the Contact Info screen, scroll down and toggle the "Hide chat" switch.

5. You will be prompted to set up a 4-digit PIN. This PIN will be used to unhide the chat later.

6. After setting up the PIN, the chat will disappear from your chats list.

To unhide the chat, follow these steps:

1. Go to the "Chats" tab.

2. At the very top of the screen, you will see the "Archived Chats" section. Tap on it.

3. You will see a list of all your hidden chats. Tap on the chat that you want to unhide.
